Edgar County Farm Bureau Summer Internship Program

The Edgar County Farm Bureau is seeking a well-versed and motivated student to provide the Farm Bureau Manager and staff assistance through an internship. The position will provide the opportunity for a student to gain valuable experiences in an organizational environment and enhance their work skills. The responsibilities of the intern will be customized to the interests and skills of the student in areas they hope to develop and embolden them towards a future career.
Goal
The internship will work to provide students a wealth of valuable experience in areas of the Farm Bureau. The applicant will be asked to provide insight on personal objectives for the internship as well as how they can help enhance the Farm Bureau in anyway.

Compensation
At the conclusion of the internship the participant will be provided a $1000 dollar scholarship provided to their institution of study. This will help minimize the cost of tuition, books, supplies, and fees related to attending a higher education institute.

Commitment
The summer internship will run 12 weeks during a portion of June, July, and August with the exact dates to be finalized with the selected candidate and Farm Bureau Manager.  The intern must be willing to work at least 15 hours/week and attend some weekend activities and night planning meetings, when necessary.
